Honestly, I feel like I should just stand all day long or lay flat on the floor. I’ve started seeing a chiropractor a couple days ago and I am so sore from started realignment. He told me I would be though, so I’m not freaking out. Luckily, I have a wonderful boyfriend who is willing to give me a massage while I ice my neck.

The chiropractor feels so good though. I was terrified beforehand, since I have the ludicrous fear of my back cracking and breaking…yeaa…

I love it though, I can’t wait to go again tomorrow [technically today…], I hope I’m less sore after this session:/

My favorite part of it is the electric shock massage you get before he realigns you! It’s so wonderful…

Oh! And my mom is trying to find a massage therapist for us to go to…well, I mean it will be to benefit me, but she could use a good massage too:]

I’ll start posting more once school starts, I’m sure life will get less lazy by then…and hopefully I have a job soon..and oh I just hope this will be a busy year. That’s how I like it.

Lollapalooza was August 1st to through the 3rd. I didn’t go, but I hope to go sometime in the next few years. I really hope me and Eric will be able to go eventually. It looks so great! There’s something about sitting in the grass all day and listening to bands that makes everything bad in the world disappear. That’s why I’m in love with the Great Blue Heron<3

Anyway, I was looking through the Lollapalooza style notes on style.com and decided to pick my favorite outfits and make them my in my own way.

And away we gooo:

Oh while I’m blogging; I finished my DIY Plummage project. They look AMAZING. Better than I could have possibly imagined. It took me longer than I expected to construct each piece, but it was worth it, they are gorgeous! I made a few clips, a hair comb, a brooch, and two head bands…& I just bought a bunch of different feathers online to make more. It’s a bit expensive, but I’m planning on selling these at the next Blu Heron. Maybe I’ll even set up an online shop with some other DIY and vintage stuff I’ve made and come across [respectively, of course].

Well, that’s all I have for now, I’ll post pictures of my project soon!

Yesterday I purchased three bags of feathers, hair combs, and mini clips to recreate these plumage hairclips/headbands. [pictures courtesy of urbanoutfitters.com]

This looks easy enough, I’ve made bracelets by using that beading method, so I’ll just make a bracelet, except longer!

Just sew some lace together!

Solder some chains and other metal tidbits onto a good heavy duty pin.

Yes, we went food shopping today, my mom is starting to buy natural and whole grain foods, so that’s nice. I’ve been trying to get her to do that for a while, but she came to her senses on her own. I saw this curly haired kid in the pasta aisle. He worked at the store. He kept looking at me. I was creeped out. End.

Remember when I told you I went on a shopping trip with my parents, well here are the results. Oh how proud I am…

This first group of pictures are some thrifting finds I bought in Erie:

A nice pair of glasses, of course.

Pink oversized cardigan.

Floral skirt, beautiful colors.

Polka dot skirt.

Old lady Keds and leather belt.

And then we went to the mall. Oh, the mall. I hate it. I really don’t understand why girls love going there and just drinking Orange Julius…es. Not that I mind the Julius. But, I hate the mall.

Anyways, here’s what I came away with:

Rue 21. Very affordable and most of the stuff is very cute. But watchout, some of the clothing is of very cheap quality. Make sure to look closely for and weak stitching or cheap zippers. Those are the two problems I’ve come across.

Peace sign necklace with a beautiful chain which goes down to my breastises.

Pinstriped low-cut stretch vest.

These next two items are from Target, or as the French lke to call it, Tar-jay.

Long, gray short-sleeve cardigan. Two front pockets.

Of course I got some things from Old Navy, I never leave that store without at least one thing!

Black boyfriend cardigan with front pockets.

High waist “tulip” skirt with pockets. I say tulip because it doesn’t come in fully at the bottom, at least not enough to truly be a tulip skirt.

I was diggin through my drawers for old clothing to cut up and I stumbled upon a pretty little baby doll top from around 3 years ago. I’ve only worn it a couple of times, but my boobs quickly grew out of it. I decided to cut it across the waist and make it into a shirt. Hai gurl hai!

Sorry for the myspace angles, but I’m fat, you see, it comes with the territory.

It was sold out in Imax, and why ruin it by seeing it in a regular theater?

So tomorrow, definitely, me and Eric are seeing it in Imax. Yeshha

Last week, we ended up seeing Xfiles, which was amazing! I felt bad because Eric doesn’t watch it, but he didn’t care. Sew Sweet.

I have to say, mulder was looking fine. And Scully looked gorgeous, her clothes did too.

And Shear Genius said goodbye to Gail…I loved her. It was either her or Charlie, and Charlie is a genius, so it was an obvious choice. It was still a dark day seeing her go! Paolo won the challenge, FINALLY. I love that man. I have a little crush on him though. Too bad he’s gay:/

Unfortunately I was a little under the weather yesterday and I didn’t cook. But tomorrow I’m thinking strawberry muffins? Yes.
